NoizGuild/World War IV

NoizGuild was formed in 1996 as a DJ team to address the lack of noise music
in the club scene in New York City. NoizGuild was conceived as an antithesis to
the monotony of the modern club scene. Our main goal was to lure fanatics of this music
out of their foxholes and into the battlefield of extremes, as well as to present
the general public with a form of music that is often overlooked (after all, that should be
the job of a DJ!).

Over the past couple of years, our interests have changed. We no longer have interest in the
club scene, and we almost never go out. Since then we have refocused our
attention to creating our own music with The NoizGuild Project and various collaborations,
and releasing other music we like with our label, World War IV Recordings.

We still DJ on occasion, we enjoy doing it, but we can only tolerate dealing with the
club scene a couple of times a month. We organize and promote noise showsand throw
record release parties. With the help of NoizGuild allies, we will continue to bring you
the best of noise, power electronics, dark ambient, and industrial music available.
